HOLY TRINITY CHURCH
CASTERTON
SUPPORT
For many years, a social and fundraising programme has contributed much to the life of the church, there are many ways in which you can contribute.
KIND DONATIONS
For many years, a social and fundraising programme has contributed much to the life of the church, whilst providing funds for projects such as the purchase of an efficient new boiler. Many events are linked to special events in the church calendar.
Basic running costs, repairs and maintenance are largely financed by a thrice-yearly grant from the Prep School and villagers’ standing orders.
A WELCOME HAND
Our congregation is always pleased to welcome into church newcomers to Casterton, as well as our established friends from the Rainbow Parish. We gladly participate in the growing ecumenical links with Christian organisations in Lunesdale
and beyond.
Whatever benefits you may find in coming into church, or in helping it to thrive, we are always there to meet and introduce you.
AN EXCELLENT VENUE
Additional revenue comes from concerts and recitals given by soloists, choirs and instrumental groups of local, regional and national renown. These include award-winning saxophonist Jess Gillam, Professor Alexei Shmitov, Allegri Singers and the impressive Carnforth Choral Society.
Excellent acoustics and a quiet location lend themselves to quality CD recordings. Holy Trinity is host to ‘Sing Joyfully’, an enthusiastic choral group with a range of experience, and a strong emphasis on enjoyment in making music.
